- After check-in, take some time to relax and enjoy a delicious lunch at your convenience.
- Around 2:30 – 3:00 pm, head to the iconic Amer Fort. Here, you’ll explore fascinating sites like Suraj Pol, Jaleb Chowk, Ganesh Pol, Diwan-e-Aam, Jai Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Sukh Niwas, and Zeena Mahal. Plan your entry carefully, as the visit typically takes 2 to 5 hours to fully experience the fort’s rich history and architecture.
- Before departing, take a moment to unwind at the newly added coffee shops. Enjoy a refreshing beverage while soaking in the unique ambiance of Amer Fort.
Jaipur Food: Jaipur is known for its vibrant and spicy cuisine, perfect for those who enjoy bold flavors. If spicy food isn’t your preference, don’t worry—many popular fast food chains and top food brands are readily available throughout the city to suit all tastes.
Jaipur Hotel: For a truly unforgettable experience, consider booking a room in a heritage fort or haveli. These unique accommodations offer an exclusive ambiance, immersing you in Jaipur’s regal charm and historic elegance.
Jaipur Sightseeing: Choose your preferred mode of sightseeing: a shared SIC taxi, a private cab, or, for maximum flexibility, a self-drive rental car. Opting for a self-drive car can be an excellent choice, but stay alert—two-wheelers and older taxis can appear unexpectedly on Jaipur’s bustling streets. Safe driving is key to enjoying the city at your own pace!
Day 2
- This morning, after enjoying a hearty breakfast, set off to explore the vibrant streets of Jaipur, famously known as the Pink City. Immerse yourself in the local culture and charm that this enchanting city has to offer.
- After lunch, continue your adventure by heading to Jaigarh Fort. Here, you can marvel at the Jaivana, the largest cannon in the world, and explore an impressive collection of 18th-century weapons and artillery on display. Don’t miss the captivating views from Diya Burj, which add to the fort’s historic allure.
- After your visit to Jaigarh Fort, make your way to Nahargarh Fort. Here, you’ll discover stunning Indo-European architecture, featuring numerous rooms built for the queens, including the beautiful Sheesh Mahal. Be sure to take in the breathtaking panoramic views of Jaipur, which make this visit truly memorable.
- After 5:30 pm, once the fort’s entrance closes, you can drive your car to the RTDC-operated restaurant, known for its spectacular views. Be sure to reserve a seat in advance to ensure you enjoy the best vantage point while dining.
- Enjoy a romantic dinner before heading back to your hotel. However, be mindful not to stay out too late for safety reasons, as the 9 km stretch to Amer Road can be quite deserted at night.
Day 3
- After breakfast today, set off for the City Palace, which includes the stunning Hawa Mahal and the nearby Jantar Mantar. Take your time to explore these magnificent sites in detail, as the visit will typically take around 2 to 4 hours.
- Following your visit, enjoy lunch at one of the cafés opposite Hawa Mahal. While the food may not be exceptional, the views are truly delightful. Alternatively, you might prefer to have lunch elsewhere and return to the café for drinks while soaking in the stunning scenery.
- After lunch, head to Birla Mandir for a serene visit to this beautiful temple. Following that, make your way to Jal Mahal in the evening, where you can enjoy the enchanting views of the palace illuminated against the water.
- Take a leisurely stroll down Johri Bazar Road at night to savor some delicious local food. The vibrant atmosphere and street vendors offer a delightful culinary experience that captures the essence of Jaipur’s rich flavors.
